Ilona Vodárková was born in the former Czechoslovakia and discovered her passion for swimming at an early age. As a competitive swimmer, she achieved success at the national and international levels. After retiring from her active career, she moved to Switzerland – a conscious new beginning, accompanied by a desire to develop further and explore new perspectives.

After successfully learning German and out of a deep passion for creative design, as well as as a balance to her sports, she decided to take a creative direction: She studied architectural design and successfully completed her studies. The creative exploration of space, form, and function was an important personal and professional milestone that shaped and enriched her design thinking.

But Ilona's connection to sports remained deeply rooted. She completed further studies in the field of sports to further develop her passion for exercise and training on a scientific basis. In 2007, she returned to training practice and worked as a personal trainer at the former Asiaspa Zurich until 2016. At the same time, she taught swimming lessons at a primary school for grades 1 to 4.

In 2016, she founded the sole proprietorship EVENSTAR Personal Training in Zurich. After a long break, she returned to her passion as a trainer in early 2023 and has since trained triathletes at the Triathlon Club Trigether , focusing on national and international competitions.

With her many years of experience, in-depth knowledge, and clear training philosophy, Ilona supports athletes individually and purposefully. Her work is based on sports science findings, biomechanical analyses, and periodized load control. Her focus is on technique improvement, specific strength development, regeneration, and sustainable performance improvement – always tailored to the physiological demands of the respective discipline.
